Jennifer Tauber, DPM

At New Canaan Podiatry, we provide comprehensive foot and ankle care with a modern, whole-body approach to healing. Serving New Canaan, Darien, Stamford, Greenwich, and the surrounding Fairfield County community, we combine advanced podiatric medicine with regenerative and wellness-focused therapies designed to help our patients reduce pain, restore mobility, and stay active.
“My passion extends beyond treating foot pain. I’m committed to helping patients move better, feel better, and live healthier lives. I believe true healing happens when we look at the whole patient, not just the condition,” says Dr. Tauber. “At New Canaan Podiatry, we integrate traditional podiatric medicine with innovative regenerative therapies to support recovery, optimize function, and promote long-term health, creating a patient experience that’s both highly personalized and forward-thinking.”

Rather than simply treating symptoms, Dr. Tauber focuses on identifying the underlying cause of each patient’s foot and ankle condition, then building a treatment plan around their specific lifestyle and goals.

She’s currently board certified in diabetic wound care and diabetic footwear through the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.

Our Approach to Care

Dr. Tauber has particular interest and depth of experience in diabetic foot care, pediatric foot and ankle issues, and acute and chronic lower extremity injuries, but “I offer a wide range of treatment beyond that,” she says. “I’ve built this practice around bringing modern, minimally invasive options to patients who want more than a standard prescription and a referral.”

That includes several regenerative and biologic-based healing modalities we offer, among them EPAT Shockwave Therapy, MLS Laser Therapy, and biologic tissue treatments like DPMx and Liposana, alongside custom orthotics, sports medicine, and minimally invasive solutions for heel pain, tendon injuries, arthritis, neuropathy, and other chronic foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Tauber has also completed extensive training on the Fotona laser platform, which we have on-site at the practice. This state-of-the-art system extends our care beyond traditional podiatry into aesthetic and vascular treatments, including reducing the appearance of spider veins, laser hair removal, and clearing fungal nail infections.
Patients consistently tell us they appreciate the short wait times, the personalized attention, and that every visit feels like we’re treating family, not just the feet they walked in on. “My mission is simple,” Dr. Tauber says. “Help patients move comfortably, recover naturally, and maintain long-term foot health as part of their overall wellness.”
